Made for the Moment

Problem: With the alarming number of opioid overdoses in this country, first responders reach for what they know - NARCAN. Even though NARCAN wasn’t effective against stronger drugs like Fentanil, they were hestitant to make a switch during a lifesaving moment.

Solution: We had to make them realize that we weren’t asking them to switch products for something stronger, we were trying to help them save more lives. With so many overdoses at every rung of society, victims were often becoming statistics, and products simply a business decision based on cost and surplus. We set out to remind EMS workers that these people aren’t simply overdose victims, they’re people too - mothers, sons, teachers, best friends, people just like themselves. We wanted EMS workers to be confident when answering the call, because just like them, OPVEE was Made for the Moment.
